Welcome to our 44th Season!

This Tuesday marks the official start of our 44th season! Although we are not performing in person this calendar year, we are focusing on some exciting and important projects, including:

  • Sharing music with each other: Singing virtually is certainly different, but we are actively exploring ways to create music together through virtual choir projects, showcasing our digital archives, and a virtual holiday cabaret.

  • Maintaining a sense of community among our members:  We plan to continue our virtual gatherings, including our exploration of music theory, sight singing practice, and — of course — socialization!

  • Affirming our commitment to anti-racism: To follow up on the statement we released in June, we will be conducting a series of trainings and conversations on race, racism, and the work we need to undertake to become an anti-racist organization.

We miss having our friends and supporters in the audience, but there are many ways to stay engaged with us this season:
  • Join the Chorale: If you've ever considered joining us, now is the perfect time! You'll be able to polish your musical chops during our weekly theory and sight singing practices, plus you'll have the chance to meet and connect with other members! You can learn more about auditioning on our website.

  • Subscribe to our YouTube Channel: Our YouTube channel will be the primary place we release music to our community.  From our "greatest hits" to new virtual performances, you can hear our beautiful music on our YouTube channel. (If you missed our Pride Virtual Performance, be sure to watch it!)

  • Visit our online shop: Whether your work-from-home wardrobe needs a refresh or you need to make a great impression at the office, our online shop is here to help! Visit our shop to stock up on some Stonewall Chorale swag; a portion of sales directly supports The Stonewall Chorale.

No one can predict what the next few months will bring us, but we are committed maintaining and strengthening a community of people united by music and friendship.
