The Stonewall Chorale, the nation's first gay and lesbian
chorus, announces openings for men and women singers beginning
in January. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings, beginning
Tuesday, January 8, 7:00 to 9:30 PM in the West Village.
Upcoming concerts include: Saturday, April 5 -- "Forever Young"
-- celebrating the 70th birthday of noted composer John
Corigliano and other great American composers, including
Bernstein, Thompson, Whitacre and more; and our Pride Concert
(June 14, 2008): "My Big Fat Gay Wedding: Stonewall Celebrates
Love & Marriage".
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 (6-6:45 PM);
Tuesday, January 15 (6-6:45 PM); and by appointment.
Requirements are ability to sing on pitch, familiarity with
music notation, dedication to the choral art, and the desire to
